no picture, no drama, no long winded post

Friday I registered for the Peterborough 70.3.

Today I ran 10.65km.  Longest run for me to date and I ran almost all of it.  I walked about every 8 minutes or so and my heart rate did not go over 160bpm.  I ran 10.65km?  I ran 10.65km!

What a weekend.

that's all I got...

StillRunning, haha I am following in the footsteps of many crazies around me here in blogland.

MBTB would be great to meet you!!

Julie, I'm trying to catch up to your awesome runs.

Thanks Rodney! Our chat certainly helped get me here. Good advice.

Allie, you already run further than 5km but don't forget to register for the waterfront half!!!

Mandy, how did I miss you in my last comment. I DO feel great (shin and knee pain aside) after that run. :-)

Matty, I can't imagine 10km ever feeling 'easy'.

BDD, I was not drunk when I registered, I didn't have a single drink. Maybe I was high on ice cream cake?

Oops sorry, maybe I was and I sent it through mind control to you. I have never drunk payed a race, I know some who have and regret it the next day

I hear you on the drunk racing. I agreed to do a tri in the first place after 3 bottles of wine with my trainer. I don't drink with her anymore. Having said that, the deal was for a try-a-tri and I ended up doing a sprint and becoming addicted so maybe it's not so bad. :-)
